YU Yureka note with 6 inch display, fingerprint sensor launched in India at Rs. 13,499

After being leaked online a few days ago, the Yu Yureka note has been officially launched in India for Rs. 13,499. The new Phablet will be first Yu product to be available via offline mode i.e. brick and mortar stores, till now Yu phones were known to be available via Online mode. The Smartphone is already available to buy and comes in black color only. The Yu Yureka note will take on Xiaomi Redmi note 3, Lenovo K4 note and LeEco Le 1s in the market.

In terms of design, it looks like bigger version of Yu Yunique thanks to similar side metal frame, Saturn ring around rear camera etc. It also sports dual speakers with NXP smart PA and dual microphones.

Coming to the core part i.e. specs Yureka Note flaunts a big 6 inch of full lamination display supporting 1920×1080 pixels of display resolution and pixel density of 367ppi. The screen is protected by a layer of Corning gorilla glass 3 to save it from scratches. The Smartphone is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz Octa Core Mediatek MT6573 processor aided by Mali T-720GPU and 3GB of RAM.

The device is loaded with 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a Micro SD card slot. For photography, it bears a 13 Megapixel rear camera housing dual LED flash, 5P lens, f/2.2 aperture and PDAF. At front it gets an 8MP camera with 84.4 degree wide angle lens to ensure decent quality photos.

The Dual SIM Phablet has a fingerprint sensor at the back panel just below the rear camera which is claimed to unlock the device in less than half a second. It supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Micro USB, GPS/A-GPS, USB OTG, 3.5 mm audio jack, bluetooth 4.1 for connectivity. It runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box and backed by a beefy 4000mah battery that supports quick charge technology.
