Apple on March 21st 2016 launched iPhone SE in India and announced the 16GB version will hit the Indian shores on April 8, 2016 with a price tag of Rs. 39,000. At that price of 64GB model was not disclosed but now just three days before its launch, the pricing of 64GB variant has been announced which is expected to go on sale alongside 16GB version.
The phone is now listed at company’s official website at a price tag of 49,000 INR which is 10k more than the 16GB version. It will be available in Silver, Gold, space grey and rose gold color shades. The SE comes with features of 6s under the skin of iPhone 5s.
It sports a 4 inch retina display with 2.5d glass and 326ppi of pixel density and powered by A9 with M9 co- processer. It runs on latest IOS 9.3 with touch ID fingerprint sensor and always on SIRI support. For imaging, the Smartphone has a 12.3 MP isight autofocus rear camera with true tone flash, 5p element lens, face detection, Auto HDR. At front, it sports a 1.2MP with retina flash.
For connectivity, it offers 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, bluetooth, NFC, digital compass, GPS with GLONASS etc. It is fuelled by lithium ion battery which can deliver up to 14 hours of talktime and 13 hours of video playback time on 3G networks and 10 days of standby time. The iPhone SE is on the lighter side with just 113 grams of weight and just 7.3mm thick.
