Asus launches range of Zenfone Smartphones in India, price starts at Rs. 9999

Riding high on the success of Zenfone 2 series, Asus has launched three new Smartphones in India at Zen Festival event held in New Delhi. The devices are Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone Selfie and Zenfone Laser. The company has also announced the arrival of Zenfone Max which carries a massive 5000mah battery which will be launched in October 2015. All the new phones run on Android Lollipop 5.0 supports dual SIM connectivity and 4G LTE.

Asus Zenfone 2 Laser-  

The Asus Zenfone 2 laser is Selfie centric phone, comes in three variants- ZE550KL, ZE550KL and ZE601KL. The ZE550KL variant features 5 inch HD display with Snapdragon 410 processor and 2GB RAM, there is another variant with same name ZE550KL but the real difference lies in RAM and processor it carries 3GB of RAM and Snapdragon 615 SOC.

Connectivity options on these devices include such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS and Bluetooth. There is a 3000mah battery that comes equipped with all the Laser Zenfone 2 devices.

The ZE601KL variant has a 1080p 6-inch display with dual Sim and 4G connectivity. All the laser series devices with 16GB internal memory with memory card slot up to 128GB, dual Sim slots, 13MP rear camera with LED flash, corning gorilla glass 4 and 5MP front snapper.

Asus Zenfone 2 Selfie-

The Asus Zenfone 2 Selfie cost at Rs. 15,999 and it runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 with Zen UI latest version which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB and 3GB RAM options. It features a 5.5 inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass 4 protection. Like other models it also runs on Android 5.0 lollipop along with Zen UI 2.0 on top.

This Zenfone 2 Smartphone is a tailor made for Selfie obsessed generation which sports a 13MP laser auto focus rear and front camera with rear tone flash and 88 degree wide angle lens.

The device comes with 16GB (2GB RAM) and 32GB (3GB RAM) internal storage options though a user who wants extra memory can expand it up to 64GB using a Micro SD card. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n and there is a 3000mah battery to complete the package.

Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe-

The third launch, Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe has a 5.5 inch display with a Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection, 178 degree viewing angle, 3.3mm bezel and 1920 x 1080 of pixels resolution. The top end device in the Zenfone 2 series is priced at Rs. 22,999 for the 64GB variant while 128GB cost at Rs. 29,999INR. The device comes with a polygonal design in red, blue and white color shades.

Powering the Zenfone 2 Deluxe is a 2.3 GHz Quad core Intel Atom Z3580 processor aided by power VR G6430 and 4GB RAM. The design if Deluxe is something we have seen in other Zenfone series devices which consists a crystal rear cover with multifaceted texture.

Other specifications on Zenfone 2 Deluxe include a 13 and 5MP camera set with five element lens and f/2.0 aperture, 3000mah battery, Android Lollipop 5.0 wrapped under Zen UI, dual SIM connectivity, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

Asus has also launched two tablets- Zenpad 7.0 and Zenpad 8.0.
