Asus’s latest flagship ZenFone 8 is giving a tough fight to Apple’s flagship – iPhone 12.
Recently Asus unveiled it’s ZenFone 8 with features as follows:
- powerful Snapdragon 888 processor,
- 4000mAh battery that lasts the whole day on a single charge,
- 30W wired charging
- 16GB RAM & 256GB storage,
- 5.9-inch 1080p OLED display along with 120hz refresh rate,
- IP68 water/dust resistant rating,
- 2 rear cameras of 64MP and 12MP and 12MP front camera, dual stereo speakers,
- 3.5mm headphone jack, supports Android 11
All such interesting features have enabled Asus ZenFone 8, the only Android smartphone to effectively compete against iPhone 12 mini. Owing to this, the launch of the Asus flagship is encouraging users who are fond of a one-handed smartphone and don’t compromise on its quality performance.
This is especially because of its design that comprises a curved matte glass abreast with matching aluminum trim and supports 5G. This being a compact and easy fit seems portable and pocketable as well and assures trust in small-sized devices.
The device will be available at a starting price of €599 (or approx. Rs 53,257) in Europe. Though, the official release date was 12th May but, due to the rising covid cases in India, its launch has been canceled for now.
The Taiwanese company will be launching ZenFone 8 Flip which is considered a refreshed version of ZenFone 7 Pro. There would be some differences in features such as a screen size of 6.67 inches with a 90Hz refresh rate, the processor of Snapdragon 888, 5,000mAh battery, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage. However, this device will be available in Europe at a starting price of €799 (or approx. 71,030).
