Asus has rolled a new version of Zenfone Selfie Smartphone in India. The new version ZD551KL 3GB RAM and 16GB in-built storage now comes with diamond cut back panel much like the premium end Zenfone Deluxe Smartphone. It has a sticker price of Rs. 12,999 and will be available via Amazon India in Sheer Gold, Polygon-illusion diamond white, Illusion smooth pink, glacier gray and illusion polygon blue colors. It will be available via retail outlets from September onwards.
Specifications are similar to the standard Selfie variant, it flaunts a 5.5 inch full HD display with a corning gorilla glass 4 protection and 72% screen to body protection. It is powered by an Octa Core Snapdragon 615 processor with 3GB RAM and Adreno 405 for graphics.
At rear, the Zenfone Selfie features a 13MP snapper with laser auto focus, dual tone LED flash, Selfie panorama and wide angle lens. It also offers a 13 Megapixel front facing camera with real tone flash, 88 degree wide angle lens and f/2.0 aperture. The camera unit supports macro photography which allows users to object over 6 cm.
For connectivity, it offers 4G LTE, GPS/A-GPS, bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n ac, GLONASS, Wi-Fi direct, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. While most new Smartphones runs on Android 6.0 or above, Zenfone Selfie runs on Lollipop 5.1 wrapped under Zen UI 2.0. A 3000mah battery keeps the phone running.
