It is finally that time of the year when Apple’s annual event takes place. At this year’s event the company announced its flagship iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR smartphones. Apple is also introducing Dual SIM support in its smartphones for the first time ever, the company is tying up with operators for this. We know you all want to eagerly know the specifications of the new iPhones, check them out below:
Apple iPhone XS and XS Max specifications:
The iPhone XS features a 5.8 inch OLED 458ppi super retina HDR display,1,000,000:1 contrast ration 3D touch, whereas the iPhone XS Max sports a 6.5 inch OLED 458ppi super retina HDR display. Both the iPhones are powered by a six-core A12 bionic 64-bit 7nm processor with four-core GPU, M12 motion co-processor and they run on iOS 12. Both the devices are water and dust resistant (IP68) and are Dual SIM (nano+ eSIM / physical SIM in China).
The chip with 6-core CPU with two performance cores potentials 15% fast performance and 40% lower power, and 4 efficiency cores will offer up to 50% lower power compared to A11 Bionic. The iPhones has 6.9 billion transistors and can perform 5 trillion operations per second, up from 600 billion in A11.
In the connectivity section, they offer 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac with MIMO, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS with GLONASS. The iPhone XS weighs 177g and iPhone XS Max weighs 208g.
The smartphones have a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery with Qi wireless charging, fast charging, it allows up to 12 hours of internet use in iPhone XS and 12 hours of internet use in iPhone XS MAX.
The iPhones also offer a TrueDepth camera for FaceTD facial recognition
Storage:
The iPhones are available in three storage variants 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options.
Camera:
Both the iPhones are equipped with a 12-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 12 megapixel secondary telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture both with iOS. The iPhones also has a smart HDR that uses A12 chip’s AI features. For the front camera the iphones feature a 7-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture and1080p video recording Retina flash. The camera also has dual optical image stabilization, Optical zoom; Six element lens, Quad-LED True Tone flash, 4K video recording at 60 fps and Slo-mo 1080p at 240 fps
Price:
The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will come in 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacity models in space grey, silver, and a new gold finish colors. The phones will be available through Apple Authorized Resellers starting from September 21st.
