The first image of the U12+ has been surfaced along with few more details about the phone. The other detailed specifications of the previously launched U12 were surfaced earlier last month. Specifications
The HTC U12+ will come with a 6-inch (2880 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD+ Super LCD 6 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. For the processor, it will be powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) with HTC Sense UI. The connectivity options consist of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS with GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, USB-C audio, HTC USonic with Active Noise Cancellation, and HTC BoomSound. The phone will also come possessed with additional Water and dust resistant features and gets a fingerprint sensor as well.
Camera
The optics have a 12MP HTC UltraPixel primary camera with dual LED flash and a secondary 16MP rear camera as well. For the front, it comes with an 8MP + 8MP dual front-facing cameras for selfies with real-time bokeh effects.
Battery
The phone will be backed by a 3420mAh battery with fast charging.
Storage
The storage options have 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB internal memory that is expandable up to 2TB with micro SD card.
Expected launch
The HTC U12+ is expected in early May instead of late April as rumoured earlier. The price of the smartphone would be known closer to its launch.
