HMD global just announced its new 2018 budget lineup including Nokia 5.1, the successor of last year’s Nokia 5. The phone has a uni-body design with 6000 series aluminum and the company says the mobile has been refined through a rigorous 33 stage process of machining, anodizing and polishing. Nokia 5.1 specifications:
The phone sports a 5.5 inch (1080 x 2160 pixels) FHD+ 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P18 (MT6755S) processor. It runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) OS which is upgradable to Android P and has fingerprint and Dual SIM. On the connectivity part if offers 4G VoLTE, GPS, WiFi 802.11 and Bluetooth 4.2. It packs a 3000 mAh battery and has a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio.
Storage:
The device offers two storage variants 2 GB RAM with 16GB internal memory and 3FB RAM with 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB with the microSD card.
Camera:
Nokia 5.1 is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and 8-megapixel front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree wide angle lens.
Price and color:
The Nokia 5.1 will be available in Copper, Tempered Blue, and Black colors. It will be priced at 14,795 INR and will roll out globally in July 2018.
