At the launch event of Oppo F9 Pro, the company also introduced F9, a cheaper version in the “F” series in India. The phone will have a water drop screen with a screen to body ratio for an immersive experience. Talking about the features, the phone gets a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by Octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 12nm processor with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The device runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) and is Dual SIM (Nano+nano+ MicroSD card). Oppo F9 will run on 3500 mAh (typical) / 3415 (minimum) battery and will have fingerprint sensor also. In the connectivity section, the phone will offer Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.2.
Storage:
The Oppo F9 will come with 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card.
Camera:
The smartphone will be equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.85 aperture, secondary 2-megapixel camera and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for perfect selfie shots.
Price and color:
The device will be available in Black and purple colors and will be priced at INR 19,990. It is expected to go on sale in India in September.
