HTC 10 evo with Quad HD display, water-resistant body launched in India for Rs. 48990

HTC has launched its latest high-end Smartphone in the 10 series dubbed as HTC 10 Evo. The device is already available to buy via HTC India E-Store in Pearl Gold colour variant, and it has been priced at Rs. 48,990. It is the global version of HTC 10 bolt that doesn’t feature conventional 3.5mm audio jack instead sports USB type-C enabled dual adaptive headphones accompanied by HTC Boomsound audio. Smartphone also has Hi-Res feature that delivers 24-bit audio.

HTC evo 10 sports a 5.5-inch QHD display with 1440×2560 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with 3GB RAM and Adreno 430 GPU. Evo 10 includes 32GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 2TB using a Micro SD card. The handset also sports free unlimited storage with Google photos and comes with pre-loaded Google duo app.

It runs on Android nougat 7.0 with HTC sense UI on top and sports IP57 water resistant ratings. The fingerprint sensor integrated on the home button claims to unlock the device in 0.2 seconds. HTC evo 10 is fuelled with a 3200mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 for fast charging.

It bears a 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash, OIS, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, 120fps slow-mo video and 4K video recording. For Selfies and Video calling, it is equipped with an 8MP front facing camera with screen flash. For connectivity, it supports WI-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5 GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, USB Type-C, and GPS with GLONASS. It measures 153.6 x 77.3 x 8.1 mm and weighs 174 grams.
