Intex has launched a new pocket friendly Smartphone, the Aqua Air which is now listed on the company’s official website carrying a price tag of Rs. 4690.
The Aqua Air sports a 5 inch FWVGA display with 854×480 of pixel resolution and 16.7M display colors. The Smartphone is backed by a 1.2GHz dual core Mediatek MTK6572W processor equipped with 512MB of RAM and Mali 400 MP GPU. The specs are not decent enough to attract the buyers as one may get better choices in spending just 500-1000 more.
The handset carries 8GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB just by using micro SD card. The device features a 2 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera which nowadays looks dated.
The device is fuelled by a 2300mAh LI-on battery which is claimed to deliver up to 8.5 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time. The dual SIM Smartphone is available in Champagne, Black Grey and White colors.
Besides dual SIM support, connectivity options on the Aqua air include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS/ A-GPS and Micro-USB 2.0. The Aqua Air bears number of sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.
It measures 145.5×72.8x10mm and weighs 151 grams. On the software front, it runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat.
