Lava Iris X10 with 4G LTE, 3GB RAM officially launched in India at Rs. 11,500

After being spotted online last week, Lava Iris X10 has been officially launched in India for Rs. 11,500. X10 is company’s third device to feature with 4G LTE support and it will be available via online and offline stores across India in Royal black and Icy white color variants. The device was spotted on an e commerce website with a price tag of Rs. 10,990.

As far as specifications goes, it sports a 5 inch HD screen with 1280×720 pixels resolution and protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is backed by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor aided by 3GB of RAM and 16GB on in built storage which is expandable by up to 32GB using a Micro SD card.

The Lava Iris X10 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with Star UI on top and the company also promises a confirmed Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in near future. For imaging, it bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, 1080p video recording and f/2.0 aperture. There is also a 5-megapixel front facing Snapper with 84 degree wide angle lens on board.

The Dual SIM handset is very light with weight of 105 grams. In terms of connectivity it gets 4G LTE {(FDD 1800 MHz (Band 3) and TDD-LTE 2300 MHz (Band 40)}, bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G HSPA+, 3.5mm audio jack and Micro USB. It is backed by a 2900mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 15.3 hours of talk time and up to 849.2 hours of standby time. In India, it will take on the recently launched Micromax Canvas 5 and Intex Aqua super etc.
