Lava launches Flair Z1 the Android lollipop equipped Smartphone in India at Rs. 5699

The home grown Smartphone maker Lava has launched another low budget device named Flair Z1. The device is priced at Rs. 5699 and it is available to buy exclusively via Amazon from 30th July 2015 and multi brand retail outlets. Lava’s new device runs on Android Lollipop as they wants to cash in the popularity of Lollipop powered Smartphones.

The Smartphone is ornamented with some decent specs like it sports a 5 inch IPS (854×480 pixels) display, powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor which is quite good for such a affordable Smartphone.

Lava Flair Z1 has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of in-built storage which users can further increase up to 32GB using a Micro SD card. On software front, it runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 which is the main highlighting point of the device. LG max has same specs but it cost around 10,990 which is almost double the price of Flair Z1.

For photography, there’s a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera which according to us is fair enough considering the price range of the device. Additionally it is loaded with some features like Gesture control, Flip to mute, call recording and many more.

The connectivity options on Lava flair Z1 include 3G HSPA+, dual SIM support, USB 2.0, bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. The device is 8.9mm thick and weighs 160 grams. It is backed by a 2000mah battery which is claimed to deliver 15 hours of talktime on 2G networks and up to 9 hours of talktime on 3G networks.

Lava Flair Z1 will be available in white and black color variants.
