LG has finally launched its new Flagship G6 in India, as promised. Available at Rs. 51,990, the Smartphone will be available via Amazon and offline retail stores from today onwards. The G6 comes in Astro Black, Ice Platinum and Mystic White colour options. LG has bundled the flagship with various launch offers like Rs. 10,000 Cashback for SBI and HDFC credit card holders available for today only. In addition, LG is offering 50% discount on LG Tone Active+ HBS wireless headset.
In association with Jio, LG G6 users will get additional 10GB data on every recharge of Rs. 309. Those who pre-book LG G6 are entitled to Rs. 2000 cashback till May 31 while all customers (SBI and HDFC card holders) will get 7000 cashback until May 1. LG is also giving six mobile games Temple Run 2, Cookie Jam, Spider-Man Unlimited worth Rs. 14,100 for Free.
In terms of specs, LG G6 flaunts metal body and glass design and comes with a 5.7-inch QHD+ Full vision display with 2880*1440 pixels of screen resolution, near the Bezel-less front display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood is an Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clubbed with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. It has 64GB of internal storage with support for memory expandability up to 2TB via a Micro SD card.
As said, it bears a dual camera set up at rear with 13MP sensors– one for regular pictures and one for wide angle pictures with 125-degree wide angle lens. Camera features include dual tone LED flash, OIS 2.0, PDAF, EIS, 4K video recording, multi-view and square camera mode. Up front are a 5 Megapixel unit with 100-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE (LTE A3), Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible). The handset fuelled by a non-removable 3300mah battery with quick charge 3.0 support. LG G6 also has a fingerprint sensor on the back panel and comes with Google Assistant Support. It has also cleared MIL-STD 810G military standard test for durability and comes with IP68 water and dust resistance rating. The device measures 148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9mm and weighs 163 grams.
