LYF Water 11 with Android 6.0, 3GB RAM launched in India at Rs. 8199

Amidst the Jio row, Reliance digital has expanded its Water series with the launch of Lyf water 11, priced at Rs. 8199. The device comes in Gold hue only and it is available via offline stores like Reliance digital and digital Xpress. Water 11, the successor to LYF water 10 which was launched last week seems to be overpriced considering the specifications.

The Smartphone has a 5 inch HD display featuring pixel density of 294ppi and screen resolution of 1280*720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6735A 64-bit processor clubbed with meaty 3GB RAM and Mali T-720 GPU for graphics. The internal ROM stands at 16GB which is further extendable up to 64GB by inserting a Micro SD card. Inclusion of 32GB internal memory could have been a better option.

The hybrid technology powered dual SIM device runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box. In the optics department, things are taken care by a 13MP primary rear camera supporting LED flash and range of features like auto focus, auto scene detection, video snapshot, multi angle view mode, gesture capture and Smile shot.

For Selfies and Video calling, it bears a 5 megapixel front facing camera. Besides dual Sim, it offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB 2.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio and USB OTG as connectivity options. It is backed by a 2100mah battery which seems to be inappropriate considering 3GB RAM and HD display. Apart from 3GB RAM, there is nothing special on Lyf Water 11.
