Reliance digital has launched its eighth Smartphone in the LYF Water series called LYF water 8 priced at Rs. 10,999. The Smartphone is listed on company’s official website and comes in white and black colors. The device is available via Reliance digital stores across the country. As per the price and specifications, it is probably the first LYF device which seems worth buying as it offers great bang for your bucks.
LYF water 8 sports a 5 inch HD AMOLED display supporting 1280*720 pixels of screen resolution and pixel density of 294ppi. It is backed by a 1.5GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clubbed with 3GB RAM. There is also 16GB memory on board which is further expandable up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.
The LYF water 8 sports a 13 Megapixel auto focus primary rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera with both having LED flash. The rear camera supports range of features such as HDR, geo tagging, Face detection, Opti zoom, touch to balance, ISO, Exmor R CMOS sensor. It measures 142mm x 70.5mm x 7.0mm and weighs just 122 grams.
Moreover, connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, USB OTG, Micro USB 2.0, bluetooth 4.0 and FM radio. It packs with E-compass, accelerometer, Light and proximity sensor. On the OS front, it runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box.
