Meizu launches M2 in India with 13 MP camera, 2GB RAM at Rs. 6999

Meizu has introduced ‘m2’ the successor of m1 in India which is priced at a pocket friendly price of Rs. 6999. Registration for the new flagship is already open ahead of its first flash sale on e-commerce site Snapdeal on 12th October 2015. The Phone comes in four different color shades to choose from which are white, Grey, Blue and Pink.

It boasts a 5.0 inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280×1020 pixels and an AGC Dragontrail glass protection. Expect the device to provide great media experience with such high resolution screen.

Powering the Meizu M2 is a 64-bit Mediatek (MT6735) Quad core Processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and clubbed by 2GB RAM and Mali T720 GPU. Meizu M2 comes with 16GB of in-built storage with an option of a memory card to further expand the storage capacity by 128GB.

For such an affordable device, its camera configurations can even shame some premium category Smartphones. Having said that, it sports a 13 megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 5P lenses and Gorilla glass 3 protection. There is also a 5MP front snapper o board which comes with 4P lenses and f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box along with Flyme OS 4.5 on top of it.

The Hybrid dual SIM handset supports 4GLTE connectivity, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS. It measures 140.1×68.9 x8.7mm and weighs just 131 grams.

The Meizu m2 is backed by a 2500mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 23 hours of talk time on 2G, 680 hours of standby time and 10 hours of internet surfing on 4G. It supports number of sensors like Gravity, IR proximity, Touch, Hall Effect, Ambient light and Digital compass.
