Microsoft Unveils Lumia 640 XL At MWC 2015 with 5.7 inch Screen And Windows 8.1

Microsoft unveils a new Phablet called Lumia 640 XL at the mobile world congress at Barcelona compatible with 4G connectivity. It will be offered in Single SIM, dual SIM versions including Dual SIM 4G variants as well.

Microsoft Lumia 640 XL sports a 5.7 inch IPS LCD HD display with 720p resolution, clear black tech and Gorilla glass 3 protection.

This Phablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via a micro SD card.

In camera front it consist better camera than Lumia 640 it is equipped with a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, Zeiss optics and a 5MP front snapper.

Microsoft Lumia 640 XL packs with 2500mah battery and 9.3mm thick weighs just 171 grams.

Connectivity options is same as Lumia 640 except 4G LTE feature and rest includes 3g, bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, FM radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n.

Microsoft Lumia 640 XL runs on Windows 8.1 with Lumia Denim which is upgradable to windows 10.

Microsoft is also offering 1 year of 365 subscription, 1TB one drive storage and 60 minutes on international Skype calling per month.

Price starts for 3G variant at 189 Euros and LTE will cost 219 Euros and will available from April 2015.
