Moto M with metal body, 4GB RAM launched in India at Rs. 15,999

Lenovo has been on launch spree in India as soon after launching Phab plus, and K6 power it has launched its new flagship device Moto M. The Smartphone comes in two configurations- the base variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory is priced at Rs. 15,999 while the 4GB RAM and 64GB version costs at Rs. 17,999. It flaunts metal unibody design and comes in grey, gold and silver colors. Lenovo’s new flagship device will go on sale on Flipkart starting 11.59PM on 14 December.

The Moto M comes with range of launch offers including an exchange offer up to Rs. 2000, Rs. 1000 off with Citibank credit cards, EMI scheme starts at Rs. 776 and Rs. 1000 on Moto Pulse 2 headset for Moto M buyers.

As for the specs, Moto M sports a 5.5 inch full HD IPS Amoled display with 1920*1080 pixels of screen resolution, pixel density of 401ppi and 2.5D curved glass. It utilizes a 2.2GHz Mediatek Helio P15 64-bit Octa-core processor paired with Mali T860MP2 GPU and 3GB/4GB RAM. Instead Mediatek, Snapdragon 652 or 653 could be a better choice.

Besides 32GB/64GB internal users can further expand the memory up to 256GB using a Micro SD card. Running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, Moto M features a fingerprint scanner at the back. However it is expected to get Android Nougat soon.

Moto M is equipped with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash, geo-tagging, phase detection auto focus (PDAF), auto HDR, touch focus, 1.0 um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture and full HD video recording. Up front is an 8MP Selfie camera with 1.12um pixel size and 85 degree wide angle lens.

In terms of connectivity, it offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB OTG, bluetooth 4.1, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port. A 3050mah battery keeps the phone alive which supports fast charging. Moto M also has Atoms Dolby powered speakers.
