Nokia 1 has been launched at the HMD global event in Barcelona ahead of MWC 2018. It is amongst the first Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphones to have been launched. The phone can use Xpress-on two-tone polycarbonate exchangeable covers, allowing users personalize the look of their devices and the covers will be available in Azure, Grey, Yellow and Pink colour options. The Nokia smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) OS and gets a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display. The device comes powered by 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M SoC coupled with 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The connectivity option of the phone consists of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. The device’s dimension measures 133.6×67.78×9.5mm.


For optics, the phone bears a 5-MP primary camera with an LED flash. On the front, it has a 2-MP fixed focus camera for selfies.

The phone houses a 2150mAh battery that delivers up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 15 days of standby time.


The phone would be available in Dark Blue and Warm Red colour variants.


The phone is said to be priced at approx 5,500 INR.
