New Smartphone Launches of the Season

The festive season gifted a lot of new devices to gadget freaks. This list is to serve all those tech fanatics who were too busy to update themselves. In line with current market status of smartphone industry, we are bringing forth the trendy new smartphones of the season.

First in the list comes the Nokia Lumia 950 and 950 XL which is all set to hit the Indian market today. These smartphones are first to run on Windows 10 Operating System. Besides, it comes with a RAM of 3 GB and ROM of 32 GB. The internal storage can be further extended by using a microSD card. The Lumia 950 is backed with a battery of 3000mAh while Lumia 950 XL comes with a battery of 3340mAh. Both smartphones comes with a 20 mega pixels primary camera with LED flash and 5 mega pixels front camera with wide angle lens. Under the hood, Lumia 950 sports a 1.8HHz Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor and Lumia 950 XL comes with a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. You can connect both the smartphones to the Microsoft display dock and use it with a set of external computer accessories like mouse, keyboard and a monitor. If you are the one among lucky ones than you may get the display dock free on pre-booking. The prices are speculated around INR 38,000 and INR 43,000 respectively for Nokia Lumia 950 Dual SIM and Nokia Lumia 950 XL Dual Sim.

After that, it is the InFocus M808. The InFocus M808 Smartphone has 5.2 inch Full HD 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution display. It is powered by 1.3 GHz Octa core, MediaTek MT6753 processor and comes with a RAM of 2 GB and ROM of 16 GB (in built memory). It ships with a primary camera of 13 mega pixels and secondary camera of 5 mega pixels. This is a budget friendly smartphone available for INR 12,999.

The next comes ‘On’ series of Samsung, which is easily available in the market. The siblings, On5 and On7 are somehow the same despite of some minor differences.

Samsung Galaxy On5

The Galaxy On5 features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display. It sports a 1.3 GHz Exynos 3475 Quad-core processor along with a RAM of 1.5GB and ROM of 8 GB, out of which 4.3GB is likely to available for the final user. The internal memory can be expandable up to 128 GB using a MicroSD card. It comes with an 8 mega pixel primary camera with LED flash and a 5 mega pixel front camera. It completes the package with a removable 2600mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy On7

The Smartphone has almost identical specifications as its identical twin On5 except for a much bigger display, a better battery and camera specifications. It has 5.5 inch HD display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad core Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 processor along with a RAM of 1.5 GB. It ships with a 13 mega pixels rear camera and 5 megapixels of front camera. On7 has a bigger 3000mAh battery which completes the box. Both the Smartphones are available in Black and Gold color options.

After the On series of Samsung, its turn of iBall Andi Sprinter 4G, it comes with a 1Ghz Quad-core processor with RAM of 1 GB and ROM of 8 GB. Display is 5.0 inch with 195 ppi. The maximum storage is 32 GB via MicroSD card. It comes with a primary camera of 8 mega pixels with LED flash and a secondary camera of 3.2 mega pixels. It runs on Android operating system on Lollipop 5.1. Plus, like all other smartphones coming these days, it supports 4G too. The iBall Andi Sprinter completes the pack with a removable battery of 2100mAh. It is available in Wine and Special Gold color variants.

Last but not the least on the list is Micromax Canvas Mega E353. The name is correctly given as it has a screen size of 5.5 inches (HD). It is powered by an 1.4gHz Octa-Core processor with a RAM of 1 GB and ROM of 8 GB. This dual SIM variant is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop. It sports a 13 mega pixels primary camera with LED Flash and 5 mega pixels front camera. It supports 3G and not 4G. It is fuelled by a removable battery of 2820mAh.
