The San Francisco based Smartphone maker Nextbit has finally made its debut in India with its cloud Robin Smartphone at demanding price of Rs. 19,999. The device is up for pre-order and will be available exclusively via Flipkart from 30th May 2016 in Mint and Midnight grey colors. The USP of the device is the 100 GB of cloud storage service which saves all the files and apps and it also comes with unique feature which automatically wash off the files you use the least to free up space on the device.
The Nextbit Robin sports a 5.2 inch Full HD IPS display with a layer of Corning Gorilla glass 4 for protection. It is powered by a Hexa Core Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 418 GPU. It has 32GB of internal storage which is non expandable though you get 100GB of cloud storage.
It runs on Android Marshmallow based Nextbit operating system which allow user to Synchronize its data when the phone gets connected to Wi-Fi. The device includes a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash and phase detection auto focus (PDAF). Up front is a 5 megapixel front shooter for Selfies and video calling.
The device comes with standard connectivity options like support to 4G LTE bands, bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/n/ac, USB type C port and 3.5mm audio jack. Sadly it misses out on FM radio feature. The Nextbit Robin also has Fingerprint sensor located at the power button. A 2680mah battery completes the package that comes with Qualcomm Quick charge 2.0 technology.
