Oppo F1 Plus with 16MP front camera, 4GB RAM Launched in India at Rs. 26,990

After introducing a few limited editions, Oppo has launched F1 plus in India at Rs. 26,990. The Oppo is touting it as ‘Selfie expert’ due to the 16 Megapixel front facing camera. It’s a beefed up version of F1 launched in January this year. The F1 plus is the same device which was launched in China last month with the name Oppo R9. It will be available across the country from mid-April in Rose gold and gold colors.

The Oppo F1 plus flaunts a similar design to Apple iPhone 6. The USP of device is 16 Megapixel front camera which support f/2.0 aperture and 78.1 degree wide angle lens. Alongside, there is a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5p lens, 80.6 degree wide angle lens and 4K video recording support.

Moving to the core part, it sports a 5.5 inch full HD AMOLED display with 1920*1020 pixels resolution and pixel density of 401ppi. The display protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla glass 4. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa Core Mediatek Helio P10 processor coupled to an impressive 4GB of RAM and 700MHz Mali T860 MP2 GPU. It also has a fingerprint sensor located at the physical home button which according to company can unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds.

The Dual Sim (Hybrid technology) runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with color OS 3.0 on top. It comes with 64GB internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB using a Micro SD card. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (dual band), GPS with A-GPS, bluetooth 4.0 and Micro USB. Backing it is a 2850mah battery which features VOOC flash charge which is rated to provide up to 2 hours of talktime in just 5 minutes of charge.
