After weeks of teasing on social media platforms, Samsung has officially launched Galaxy On NXT in India at Rs. 18,490. The Smartphone is listed on Samsung’s official website and is exclusively available from Flipkart in black and gold colors. The Note 7 mess hasn’t stopped Samsung from introducing mid range Smartphones in the Indian market. The Galaxy On NXT has a metal unibody design and wears design similar to On7 albeit few changes.
The Smartphone offers a 5.5 inch full HD display bearing screen resolution of 1920*1080 pixels and 2.5D Gorilla glass protection. Powering it is an Octa core Exynos 7870 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz and clubbed to 3GB RAM and Mali T830 graphics. It comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be further increased up to 256GB using a Micro SD card.
It offers a 13MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and full HD video recording capability, there’s an 8MP front facing camera with f/1.9 aperture for selfies. The Smartphone houses a fingerprint sensor integrated on its home button and it runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box with a layer of Touch Wiz UI on top.
In terms of connectivity, on NXT offers dual Sim, 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, GLONASS, Micro USB 2.0, ANT+, 3.5mm jack and Beidou. Samsung Galaxy On NXT draws its power from a 3300mah non-removable battery which claims to deliver up to 20 hours of talktime and also comes with ultra data saving mode. It measures 151.7 x 75 x 8mm and weighs 168 grams.
