Now Kyocera Corporation, headquartered in Kyoto Japan is ready to introduce a new technology to the world with the launch of Digno Rafre. The new Smartphone is the first ever device that can be washed with soap and water. Tired of dirt laden Smartphone? What’s better than a washable Smartphone?

Besides washing capabilities, the phone is also shockproof as it shielded by MIL-SSTD-810G protection. The touchscreen will work fine even if it is wet as it gets Dragon Trail glass protection. To add further spice, it has been rated for hot water resistance at 43 degree IP58 and it also comes with a rubber ducky dock which floats even in the bathtub or bucket, so that your kids can play with this thing.

Speaking about the specs, it sports a 5 inch TFT display with 720×1280 pixel resolution and powered by 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage with memory expandable option using micro SD card

The camera segment includes a 13MP rear camera with CMOS sensor. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiMAX, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB and Bluetooth v4.1. The device is backed by a 3000mAh battery rated to deliver about 20 hours of talktime on VoLTE. The Kyocera Digno Rafre measures 71x141x10.1mm and weighs 155 grams. It also supports number of sensors such as Gyroscope, Accelerometer and proximity sensor.
