Sony announced XA Ultra Smartphone in May this year alongside X dual and now company has launched the XA ultra. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 29,990 and will be available via major retailers and Sony centers across India from tomorrow onwards. It comes in three colors- Graphite black, lime and white. The highlighting attraction of XA Ultra is the 16MP front camera with front LED flash, Sony Exmor R sensor and optical image stabilization.
It comes bundled with some introductory offers such as Hungama Play three months subscription worth Rs. 750, free e-book worth Rs. 1000, free content worth Rs. 2000 and Sony LIV three months subscription worth Rs. 299.
As for the specs, XA Ultra flaunts a large 6 inch full HD display with super vivid mode and Mobile Bravia engine 2 and pixel density of 367ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa core Mediatek Helio P10 processor linked with 3GB of RAM. The in-built storage stands at 16GB which can be further extended up to 200GB using a Micro SD card.
For optics, it sports a 21.5 Megapixel rear camera supporting LED flash, hybrid auto focus and quick launch and capture. It supports dual Sim functionality and runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box. Connectivity wise, it supports 4G LTE, NFC, bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, DLNA. It takes its juice from a 2700mah battery which claims to deliver 2 days of back up and up to 160 hours of nonstop music playback on single charge. The Smartphone measures 164.2 x 79.4 x 8.4mm and weighs 190 grams.
