After being unveiled at MWC this year, Sony has launched the flagship XZ premium in India. To be available at a price of Rs. 59,990, it is said to be World’s first Smartphone to come with a 4K HDR display. It is also one of the first to bear sport motion eye cameras with super slow motion video and predictive capture. Pre-bookings for XZ premium has begun which will go till 11th June before it will be available from Sony Center and Amazon.in.
It comes bundled with some pre-book offers such as Sony SRS XB20 speaker worth Rs. 8990 for free along with three months Sony LIV premium subscription and 5200 Modern Combat 5 game credits.
Coming to the specs, Sony Xperia XZ premium flaunts a 5.5 inch 4K HDR Triluminos display with X-reality mobile picture engine coated with corning Gorilla glass 5, water and dust resistant body. Powering it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clubbed with 4GB RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. It has 64GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.
The camera segment is taken care by 19MP sensors with an aperture of f/2.0, RGBC-IR sensor, Predictive and Laser autofocus, SteadyShot 5-axis digital stabilization and 4K recording. For selfies and video calling, it is equipped with a 13MP shooter with Exmor RS mobile image sensor and 22mm wide angle lens.
The Smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and backed by a 320mah battery featuring Qnovo adaptive charging and Smart Stamina mode. For connectivity, it offers 4G VoLTE, NFC, USB Type C (3.1), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and Bluetooth 5.0. The device measures 156x77x7.9mm, and weighs 191 grams.
