After the up gradation of last year’s Fire Kids Edition tablet, Amazon has come up with its two latest Fire HD tablets i.e. Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 10. The Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 10 tablets have got 8 inch and 10 inch HD displays respectively.
Amazon Fire HD 8 has 8-inch screen with 1280 x 800 pixels IPS Display at 189 PPI. It has powered by Quad-Core Media Tek MT8135 (2 x 1.5 GHz + 2 x 1.2 GHz) processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU.
The Fire HD tablet comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory out of which 4.5GB is available to user and there is a 16GB variant available out of which 11.6GB is available to user. The tablet has a micro SD card slot for expandable memory up to 128GB
It runs on Android Lollipop based on Fire OS 5. It has 5.0 MP rear camera and 720p HD front-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording. The new Fire HD 8 has dimensions- 214 x 128 x 7.7 mm and it weighs 311 grams.
Fire HD 8 supports WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band). Bluetooth with support for A2DP and USB 2.0. It has stereo jack of 3.5 mm along with an integrated stereo with Dolby Audio. The tablet has Accelerometer and Gyroscope Sensors.

While on the other hand Amazon Fire HD 10 has 10-inch with 1280 x 800 pixels IPS display at 149 PPI. It has powered by Quad-Core Media Tek MT8135 (2 x 1.5 GHz + 2 x 1.2 GHz) processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU.
The all new Fire HD 10 tablet comes with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory out of which 11.6GB is available to user. While there is a 32GB variant out of which 26GB of internal storage is available to user and has a micro SD card slot for expandable memory up to 128 GB.
It runs on Android Lollipop based on Fire OS 5. It has 5.0 MP rear camera and 720p HD front-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording which is similar to Fire HD 8. It has dimensions- 262 x 159 x 7.7 mm and weighs 432 grams.
Fire HD 10 supports WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), and Bluetooth with support for A2DP, USB 2.0. It has stereo jack of 3.5 mm along and an integrated stereo with Dolby Audio. The tablet has Accelerometer and Gyroscope Sensors.
