Vivo V5 Plus with dual front cameras, 4GB RAM launched for Rs 27980

Vivo has expanded its Selfie focused Smartphone line up with the launch of Vivo V5 Plus in India. The Smartphone went official last week and has been priced at Rs. 27980, will go up from pre-bookings from Tomorrow onwards. It will be available to buy via both online and offline retail stores from 1st February 2017. The highlight of the device is of course dual front camera set up (20+8MP) with LED flash. The camera set up allows you to achieve a realistic bokeh effect pictures with primary focus on face and a blurred background.

Coming to the specs, Vivo V5 Plus flaunts a 5.5 inch full HD in-cell display with 2.5D curving Corning gorilla glass 5. It is powered by a 2GHZ Octa core Snapdragon 625 processor clubbed with 4GB RAM and Adreno 506 for graphics. The phone features 64GB of in-built storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using a Micro SD card.

Besides dual front cameras, there’s a 16MP primary rear snapper with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture 4K video recording and PDAF. It also supports Panorama, face beauty, night mode, HDR, motion track, Palm, timer, professional, fast, slow, touch capture, gender detection, watermark, filter and ultra HD. On the software front, it runs on Android marshmallow based Funtouch OS 3.0.

Wearing metal unibody design, Vivo V5 Plus supports 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.2, dual Sim, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GLONASS with Google maps and 3.5 mm audio jack. It also gets fingerprint sensor integrated on the home button. A 3160mah battery with fast charging support keeps the phone running and it claims to deliver up to 15 hours of talktime and up to 320 hours of standby time. The handset measures 152.58 x 74 x 7.26mm and weighs 158.6 grams.
