Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 launched in “Lake Blue” variant at Rs. 12,499

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has now been launched in Lake Blue variant in India at Rs 12,999. The Smartphone will be available on Mi.com; Mi’s retails stores and Flipkart. The Blue edition Xiaomi Note 4 offers 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory which is further expandable via microSD card.

The company stated that the Lake Blue variant of the phone is launched as a part of Xiaomi’s ‘Wake the lake’ project in India and a part of each sale will be given to support the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” a government initiative. The specifications of the phone are same as Redmi Note 4 4GB RAM.

Taking a look at the specification of Redmi Note 4 has a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display and is power packed up Snapdragon 625 SoC clubbed with 4GB RAM. The phone offers a 13 Megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. The connectivity options include VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, and WiFi. The smart phone runs on Android 6.0 and has a 4100 mAh none removable battery.

Commenting on the launch of the smart phone Manu Kumar Jain, Vice President and Managing Director at Xiaomi stated that: “Xiaomi is a company who believes in giving back to the community. Water bodies have been the source of water for ages for people of Bengaluru but over the past decade, these water bodies have been facing a serious threat. To show our concern for the cause we took up the maintenance of Kempabudhi kere, to support BBMP in bringing it back to its initial days of glory as a project under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. To commemorate this cause, we are launching Redmi Note 4 Lake blue edition which would further contribute to this cause.”
