Asus launches Zenfone Go 4.5 with 1GB RAM in India for Rs. 5299

In a verge to crack the entry level Smartphone segment, today Asus has launched a new device called Go 4.5 which is said to be a lite version Zenfone Go launched in September this year. The new device is available for Rs. 5299 which is approximately 2800 less than its sibling. It will be exclusively available via Flipkart in black color and comes with exchange benefits of up to 2000.

It flaunts a 4.5 inch WVGA display with 854×450 pixels resolution and it is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core Mediatek MT6580 processor with support to Mali 400P2 GPU and 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM. For storage, it comes with 8GB of in-built storage on board with memory expansion of up to 64GB via provided Micro SD card slot.

The Dual SIM phone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box and wrapped under Zen UI 2.0. To capture sweet memories, it sports an average 5MP rear camera with LED flash and VGA camera at front. The phone weighs 133 grams and feels thick with 10.3mm.

It is backed by a 1600mah battery which is claimed to deliver 11 hours of talktime and 350 hours of standby time. It supports 3G HSPA+, GPS, bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, Micro USB and FM radio as standard connectivity features.

In 2016, the company will roll out the Zenfone 3 Smartphone series which is rumored to get USB Type C port, Fingerprint sensor and many more advanced features. Asus might officially launch the new series at CES 2016.
