After leak, Blackberry in Dubai, finally announced the TCL- made Blackberry Motion. It is the company’s latest mid-range smartphone. The Blackberry Motion has a water-resistant body with IP67 ratings and comes in a black color. The phone amounts Dh 1,699 in UAE and 1,699 Riyal in Saudi Arabia. The smartphone is available for pre-order from all leading retailers in the UAE and KSA while it will come out in other markets a little later.
The Blackberry Motion has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with 403 PPI and is also scratch-resistant as it comes with a DragonTrail Glass protection. The smartphone runs on a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon processor with 625 14nm Mobile Platform and Adreno 506 GPU. For storage, it backs 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory which is further expandable up to 2 TB with micro SD card.
For optics, the phone comes with a 12MP primary camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX378 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and 4K video recording. For selfies it has an 8MP front-facing shooter with f/2.2 aperture. The dual SIM phone has a fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) OS. The sensor of the phone is placed on the home button with a Blackberry logo and a Locker mode to keep your personal information safe. It also features an aluminum frame at the back.
For connectivity the Blackberry Motion offers, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The physical measurements of the phone are 155.7 x 75.4 x 8.13 mm. The smartphone comes packed with a 4000mAh battery and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. It claims to charge up to 50% in 40 minutes and even assuresalmost 32 hours of battery life with mixed use.
