Huawei’s Honor brand announced its Honor 10 in China last month. Now the company has confirmed that the phone will launch in India by the end of May exclusively on Flipkart though Honor View 10 was launched exclusively on Amazon. The new smartphone is expected to be introduced for the global markets at an event in London on May 15th.
The Honor 10 gets a 5.84-inch Full HD+ LCD 2.5D curved glass display with 96% NTSC Color Gamut. On the processor front, it is powered by an octa-core Huawei Kirin 970 10nm processor with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. The dual-SIM phone gets a fingerprint sensor and is powered by Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.1 OS. The connectivity options of the Honor 10 are said to have Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone’s dimensions measure 149.6×71.2×7.7mm and it weighs 153 gram.
The optics section includes a 16MP primary camera with LED flash and a secondary 24MP camera. For the front, it gets a 24MP front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
For storage, the phone will have a 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB internal storage.
The phone is backed by a 3400mAh (typical) / 3320mAh (minimum) battery with fast charging. It claims to charge from 0 to 50% in just 25 minutes.
The Honor 10 is expected to cost around 27,230 INR for the 6 GB RAM with 64 GB memory variant and for the 128 GB memory, it will be priced around 31,420 INR.
