Hyve Storm and Buzz with 13MP rear camera, 4G LTE support launched in India

Indian Smartphone market is flooded with number of companies some of them are really big while rest wants to be one. Every now and then we witness a new company entering India with their Smartphones carrying high end specs with lucrative price tags. Now the Delhi based company Hyve has entered the market with two new devices- Storm and Buzz. The Storm is budgeted device with the price range of Rs. 8499 while Buzz is high end handset carrying a sticker price of Rs. 13,999.

Both the phones will be available via major e-commerce portals like Amazon, Flipkart and Gadget360 from June 22nd, 2016. The company is also offering 1 year insurance, Pick up and drop facility from anywhere in India.

Hyve Storm:

The Hyve Storm has a 5 inch HD IPS display and employs 1.3 GHz 64-bit Quad Core Mediatek processor linked with 2GB of RAM. It boasts 16GB of internal storage which can be further increased up to 64GB via a Micro SD card. As for the imaging, it includes 13MP rear camera with LED flash, PDAF and a 5MP Selfie shooter.

In terms of connectivity, it has 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, FM radio and Micro USB. The handset currently runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 but it is upgradable to Marshmallow 6.0. A 2000mah battery completes the package which can deliver up to 14 hours of talktime and stand by time of 10 days on 4G networks.

Hyve Storm Front

Hyve Buzz:

The High end device Hyve Buzz comes with bigger 5.5 inch Full HD display with a 2.5D Arc glass on top. It is backed by a 1.5 GHz 64 bit Octa Core processor linked by 3GB of RAM and ARM Mali T720GPU. Like Storm, it too comes with 16GB of in-built storage but can hold the memory card up to 128GB. You get 32GB memory card with the Smartphone for free.

Hyve Buzz Front

The Device bears same 13MP rear camera unit with dual LED flash, Sony Exmor RS sensor and HD video recording capability. The front is equipped with a 5 megapixel front shooter. Connectivity options are similar as the Storm except for the USB Type-C support and NFC. It takes its juice from a 2500mah battery which is able to deliver up to 15 hours of talktime and 22 days of standby time. The Highlighting point about the device is that it has fingerprint sensor at the back which lets you access your contact list and it is a splash proof thanks to IPX4 certification.
