India’s leading Smartphone maker, Micromax has expanded its range of 4G enabled devices with the launch of Canvas Evok (E483). Priced at Rs. 8499, the Smartphone is good combo of design and decent specs considering the fact that it’s sub 10k handset. The device is available to buy in black color via to e-commerce website Flipkart.
Targeted at young audiences, it flaunts a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with 1280*720 pixels resolution, pixel density of 267ppi and 2.5D curved glass. To guard display from scratches it is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla glass 3. Under the hood is an Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 64-bit processor clocked at 1.4GHz assisted by brawny 3GB of RAM and Adreno 405GPU.
It sports 16GB of internal storage which can be further extended up to 64GB using a Micro SD card. As for the camera, it bears 13MP rear snapper with LED flash, 1.12um pixel size and 5P Largan lens. For Selfie freaks, it comes with 5MP fixed focus front camera with wide angle lens. The Dual Sim handset runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system out of the box.
In terms of connectivity, it includes 4G LTE with support to LTE band 3 and LTE band 40, A-GPS, WI-Fi 802.11b/g/n, USB OTG, bluetooth 4.0 and Micro USB 2.0. The Canvas Evok packs with number of pre-loaded apps such as clean master, Amazon shopping, Hike, Monster truck Saga, Skype, CM security, Citrus cube, OLX, Quikr, Swift key, Citrus cube, Candid, temple run paradise. The device is packed by a 3000mah battery which is said to deliver 10 hours of talktime and 337 hours of standby time. At this price, it will be taking Lenovo K4 note, LeEco le 1s Eco and Meizu m3 note.
