Motorola Moto G4 Play with Marshmallow OS launching soon

Motorola’s new Smartphone Moto G4 play as it is found listed on export import tracking website Zauba. Just after the launch of G4 and G4 Plus in India, the G4 Play is found listed on Moto USA website but there was no confirmation of it launching in India. Putting all doubts and speculations on rest, it seems now the Smartphone will soon set foot on Indian shores.

The Zauba shows that few units of G4 play aka Moto XT 1607 imported from USA at Rs. 6804 each, however this is just a declared price not the actual value of the model. With all the taxes and duties which stand around Rs. 1800-2000 so actual or final price may finish at 9000 INR mark.

Moto G4 Play, the successor to last year’s Moto E 2nd GEN packs a 5 inch HD display with pixel density of 294ppi, water repellent coating and Corning Gorilla glass on top. Under the hood is a Qualcomm quad core Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. It will be available in Black or white colors.

It bears an 8 MP primary rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and comes with features such as auto HDR, Panorama, tap anywhere to capture, drag to focus and full HD video recording at 30 fps. For Selfies and Video calling it is equipped with 5 megapixel front facing with display flash.

Connectivity wise, it packs with dual Sim, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. The device is backed by a 2800mah battery and runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box.
