Samsung’s slimmest ever Smartphone Galaxy A8 launched in India at Rs. 32,500

After making its debut in China last month, Samsung has introduced latest Smartphone in A series as Galaxy A8 in India. With 5.9mm thickness it is company’s thinnest offering ever till date. Priced at Rs. 32,500 new Smartphone is available in Gold, white and black color variants from today via all retail channels and at company’s official website.

The Samsung flaunts a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED full HD display with 1080×1920 of pixels resolution. Under the hood is an Octa Core Exynos 5430 processor clocked at 1.8GHz Quad core+ 1.3GHz Quad core coupled with 2GB RAM against the China spec variant’s 64-bit Qualcomm 615 processor.

The India spec variant has been launched with 32GB internal memory which is further expandable via Micro SD card up to 128GB. The latest A series device sports an autofocus 16MP primary rear camera with LED flash, f1/9 aperture, image stabilization. There is also a 5MP front facing camera with 120 degree wide angle lens to complete the package.

The dual SIM Smartphone takes its juice from a big 3050mah battery which is good enough for 304 hours of standby time. Besides dual Sim connectivity it also supports 4GLTE/3G, Bluetooth 4.1, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, GLONASS and NFC.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 measures 158×76.8×5.9mm and weighs 151 grams. It also features a fingerprint sensor at the home button and an all metal body frame. The A8 also comes with double data plan which offers double data for Airtel customers for six months.
