OKWU Pi with dual rear cameras, 4G VoLTE, Android 6.0 launched at Rs. 5999

OKWU, a mobility start-up has launched its first Smartphone in India called Pi along with a bluetooth accessory called U-tag. The phone is priced at Rs. 5999 and comes in gold and rose gold colors. The pre-orders for the Smartphone begin from 27th November 2016. The bluetooth U-tag can be connected to your devices and you can locate your belongings by using a buzzer in the nearest range. The Smartphone keep on uploading and updating its location to its server which track the device’s location without overwriting the previous location or data. This feature can also handy in case you accidentally left your phone somewhere.

The OKUW Pi features a 5 inch HD IPS screen with resolution of 1280*720 pixels and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Mediatek MT6735 64-bit processor aided by 1GB RAM and Mali T-720 GPU. The device sports 8GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a Micro SD card.

The metal wrapped device comes with a fingerprint scanner at back which can store up to 10 fingerprints. In the camera segment, it gets dual camera set up at rear with 8MP and 2MP cameras accompanied by PDAF and LED flash. Up front is a 2MP Selfie camera with PDAF and smile to click feature. The dual Sim device runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box.

On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. The OKWU Pi draws power from a 2000mah in-built battery which claims to offer 10 hours of talktime and up to 48 hours of standby time.
