Vivo has expanded its budget Smartphone category with the launch of Y53 in India. Priced at Rs. 9990, it will take on the likes of Redmi Note 4, Lenovo K6 power and Le Eco 1s in the Indian market. The Smartphone is available to buy at all leading retail outlets across India in Crown Gold and Space Grey colours.
As for the specs, Vivo comes with 5-inch qHD display with a screen resolution of 960*540 pixels. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor clubbed with 2GB RAM and Adreno 308 GPU. It has 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB using a Micro SD card.
For optics, it holds an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for Selfies and video calling. It runs Android Marshmallow with Vivo’s Funtouch 3.0 OS on top. It also has smart split and built in eye protection feature.
Besides 4G VoLTE, it offers Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, USB 2.0 and FM radio. The Vivo Y53 draws power from a 2500mah battery. It measures 144.2 × 71.4 × 7.64mm and weighs 137 grams.
