After multiple teasers, Vivo Y66 Company’s another Selfie focused Smartphone has been launched in India. The mid range device cost at Rs. 14,990 and will be available in matte black and Crown Gold colors from today onwards. The highlight of the Smartphone is its 16 Megapixel front facing camera with moonlight flash. Other noteworthy features include eye protection mode that reduces strain on eyes while watching videos or chatting and smart screen split feature for multi tasking.
The Vivo Y66 sports a metallic unibody and has a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood is an Octa core Snapdragon 425 processor clubbed with 3GB RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. The device boasts 32GB of in-built storage, which is expandable via a micro SD card up to 256GB.
Besides 16MP front camera, Y66 includes a 13MP primary rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. It runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Funtouch OS 3.0 on top. Sensors on board are ambient light, proximity and accelerometer sensor.
Connectivity option includes 4G VoLTE, bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, USB 2.0 with OTG, 3.5mm jack and FM radio. A 3000mAh Li-Polymer battery with Quick Charge 2.0 keeps the phone running. The phone measure 153.8 x 75.5 x 7.6 mm and weighs 155 grams.
