Lava introduced Z50, the first Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphone in the country. Apart from having the Android Go edition features, it has the Bokeh Mode and LED flash for both front and rear. Airtel has announced to partner with Google and bring low-cost smartphones powered by Android Oreo (Go edition) to the Indian market. In addition to Lava, Micromax will also introduce Micromax BHARAT GO smartphone powered by Android Oreo (Go edition) in partnership with Airtel.
Specifications
The Lava Z50 has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by 1.1GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor and comes mated to Adreno 304 GPU. It would run on Android 8.1 (Oreo) Go Edition. The connectivity options of the phone have 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS facility.
Camera
The optics of the phone has 5 MP rear cameras with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash.
Storage
The phone gets 1GB RAM with 8GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 128GB with micro SD card.
Color
It will come in Black and Gold colours.
Price
The price would be revealed closer to its launch.
