Honor 6X with dual rear cameras, 5.5 inch display launched in India at Rs. 12999

Huawei’s sub brand honor has launched its new Smartphone in India called Honor 6X at Rs. 12,999 for 3GB RAM version and Rs. 15,999 for 4GB RAM variant. The Smartphone was first unveiled in China last year and was recently launched in United States. It will be available exclusively via Amazon India in gold, silver and grey colors. The USP of the device is dual rear camera set up which are slowly becoming a main stream thing.

Besides, Successor to last year’s Honor 5X retains metal unibody design and fingerprint sensor. Honor 6X features a 5.5 inch full HD display with 1920*1080 pixels of screen resolution and 2.5D curved glass on top. It is fuelled by an Octa core Kirin 655 16nm processor which is clubbed with 3GB/4GB RAM and Mali T80-MP2. Internal storage can be further expandable up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.

Software wise, it runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 with EMUI 4.1 custom UI on top and it will soon get Nougat 7.0 update. It bears a 12MP rear camera with LED flash 1.25um pixel size, f/1.6 aperture; PDAF, 6P lens and a 2MP secondary camera which lets you add DSLR Bokeh effect. Up front is an 8MP front facing camera.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Dual Sim (Hybrid), bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and USB Type-C. It also has a fingerprint sensor at back which claims to unlock the device in 0.3 seconds. A3340mah battery with fast charging support keeps the phone alive and it is rated to deliver up to 650 hours of standby time. Honor 6X measures 150.9×72.6×8.2mm and weighs 162 grams.
