Honor 8 Lite with 4GB RAM, Android 7.0 launched in India for Rs 17999

After revealing it in Finland, Huawei’s Honor brand launched Honor 8 Lite, its latest smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 17,999, it sports brushed metal finish, a fingerprint sensor on the rear and has 7.6mm body. The Smartphone is available Honor partner retail offline stores in Premium Black color followed by blur color later this month. Honor is offering 15 month service warranty which includes door pick up and after sales services.

The Honor 8 Lite sports a 5.2 inch full HD 2.5D Curved glass display with a screen resolution of 1920*1080 pixels. It is fuelled by an Octa Core Hisilicon Kirin 655 processor which is accompanied by 4GB RAM and ARM Mali T830 MP2 GPU. It holds 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.

The camera segment includes a 12MP rear camera with LED flash, BSI CMOS sensor, PDAF and 1.25 um pixel size. Up front is an 8 Megapixel Selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and 77 wide angle lens. Camera features include Digital zoom, Panorama, HDR, white balancing, ISO, scene mode, auto focus, exposure compensation and touch focus.

It runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with EMUI 5.0 and comes with a fingerprint sensor on its back panel. The Smartphone offers dual Sim, bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n with hot spot functionality as standard connectivity options. The device is juiced up by a 3000mah non removable battery. The handset measures 147.2 x 72.94 x 7.6 mm and weighs 147 grams.
