Xiaomi Mi 4c is set to be unveiled on 22nd September 2015

Xiaomi is pepping for the launch of its new mid range flagship Mi 4c which is scheduled to be unveiled on 22nd September 2015 at an event in China. Xiaomi president and Co-founder Bin Lin have confirmed that the company will be officially revealing Mi 4c on 22nd September 2015 which puts an end on all the speculations regarding its launch.

The new flagship is said to be the upgraded version of Mi 4 which was introduced last year. The Mi 4c has been leaked several times on the web hinting to carry the same typical design cues of Xiaomi devices.

The new Smartphone will be available in two variants- one would be a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory variant while other would be the 3GB RAM and 32GB memory variant. The 16GB variant is expected to be priced around Rs. 15,000 mark while the model with more memory might cost around 17K.

In terms of specs, it is expected to get a 5 inch HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution and 441 ppi as pixel density. The 13MP rear and a 5MP front camera would be taking care of the photography, Selfies and video calling. However, the Mi 4c will be first Smartphone to feature USB Type C– support (V 3.0) for faster transfer speeds and charging.

Powering the new device will be a Hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz and Adreno 418 GPU. The device will run on pre-installed Android Lollipop v5.1 with MIUI 7 running on top.

In the coming weeks we might also see some interesting events from the Chinese giant, we can expect price cut on its current devices or there can also be flee of new launches.
