Xiaomi Mi 6 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, 6GB RAM, dual Camera launched

Ending the long wait, Xiaomi has finally launched Mi 6 Flagship Smartphone in China as promised. The brand touted certain things like Snapdragon 835 processor, dual rear camera setup, beefy 6GB RAM and premium 3D glass design. The four-sided 3D curved glass gives Smartphone stunning design. The Smartphone is also splash proof but not certified for water resistance. The flagship device will go on sale in China on April 28, 2017, in Bright Blue, Bright Black and White colours.

It will be also available in Silver Edition with Stainless steel frame and a Ceramic version with the 18K gold finish around the dual rear camera. Mi 6 is also the company’s first smartphone to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Xiaomi Mi flaunts a 5.15 inch Full HD display with 600 nits brightness, 94.4% NTSC colour gamut, 1500:1 contrast ratio. It is powered by a 2.35 GHz Snapdragon 835 processor accompanied by 6GB RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. The device comes with 64GB and 128GB non-expandable storage options.

The dual rear camera setup boasts two 12MP sensors at rear- one telephoto lens and one wide angle less linked by dual LED flash, portrait mode, 4-axis OIS, 10X digital zoom, 4K video recording 52mm portrait lens and 2X optical lossless zoom. For Selfies, it is equipped with an 8MP front facing camera.

For connectivity, MI 6 offers dual-SIM, bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB type-C, 2*2 MIMO WI-Fi, 4G LTE etc. Powering by 3350mah battery with 18W fast charging, Mi 6 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with MIUI 8 on top. It also has a fingerprint sensor placed under the glass and has dual front stereo speakers for better sound experience.
